Overview
Revolut is a global fintech company known for redefining how people manage their money. With fast-growing, distributed teams working across different locations, creating moments of in-person alignment is essential to maintain clarity, cohesion, and strong collaboration.
A team of 15 key members from different functions came together with the goal of stepping away from their usual work environment to reconnect, think strategically, and make important decisions together. The offsite was designed to foster connection, improve communication, and combine focused work with shared experiences in a natural setting.
The Offsite
The three-day offsite took place at Les Planes del Grau, a beautifully restored 14th-century masía located in the Garrotxa region, surrounded by nature, volcanic landscapes, and complete tranquility. The setting offered the perfect balance of privacy, silence, and comfort for strategic conversations and team bonding.
The team stayed in modern rooms with rustic charm, all equipped with private bathrooms, work desks, climate control, and Wi-Fi. Meals were shared at the hotel’s main restaurant, creating warm, informal moments that extended conversations beyond the meeting room and strengthened personal connections.
The agenda combined structured team meetings with intentional breaks and social moments. Working sessions focused on strategic alignment, priority setting, and collective decision-making, while coffee breaks, shared lunches, and dinners allowed the group to connect in a more relaxed and natural way.
One afternoon was dedicated to a team activity designed to reinforce collaboration, communication, and fun, adding a dynamic and energizing element to the experience. The rhythm of the offsite allowed the team to stay focused without feeling rushed, creating space for both deep work and genuine connection.
By blending nature, thoughtful logistics, and a well-paced agenda, the offsite enabled the team to disconnect from daily distractions and fully engage with each other and their objectives.
